In old concrete floors, deformations can appear in several ways, with some common types of deformations including:<\/p><p>Efflorescence caused by water seepage into the concrete and the rise of dissolved particles to the surface. Soft cement layers caused mainly by inadequate cleaning preparation of the surface and uneven surfaces. Cracks caused by settling of the building foundations, contraction or expansion of the concrete, etc. The cracks affect the finish and durability of the surface and the constructive concrete layer.
